The villa has three double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a further flexible room which can be prepared as either a double or twin. Spacious interiors, several outdoor living areas and a shady mature garden make it particularly well suited to families or groups holidaying together.
Guests have their own private swimming pool with a counter-current system, as well as complimentary use of the Lykia Estate’s exclusive residents’ pool. A table tennis table and fabulous roof terrace with panoramic sea and mountain views add to the villa’s appeal.
Location
Yesil Ev is situated within the well-established Lykia Estate, one of Kalkan’s most attractive and best-loved residential neighbourhoods.
The centre of Kalkan is just a few minutes away on foot. Restaurants, cafés, bars, boutiques and shops can all be reached easily, while the Old Town, harbour and town beach are also just a short walk away. From the harbour, guests can take a water taxi to several of Kalkan’s popular beach clubs.
This convenient location allows guests to shop, eat out and enjoy evenings in town without relying on taxis. Despite being so close to the centre, Yesil Ev’s mature walled garden creates a peaceful and private retreat to return to.
The Accommodation
Ground Floor
The ground floor is centred around a bright and spacious open-plan living area, with plenty of room for all 10 guests to relax together.
Two separate seating areas provide a choice of places to unwind, one of which has an internet television. French doors open directly onto the pool terrace, filling the room with natural light and creating an easy flow between the villa’s indoor and outdoor spaces.
The main living area also has a dining table seating eight guests. A couple of steps lead up to the beautifully appointed kitchen, where a breakfast table provides seating for six.
The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas hob with extractor fan, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. A small supply of complimentary coffee capsules is provided on arrival, with additional capsules available to purchase from the villa’s management team.
A separate guest cloakroom with a WC is also located on this floor.
The villa is fully air-conditioned throughout.
Bedroom One
The ground-floor bedroom is a comfortable double room. It does not have an en-suite bathroom, and guests staying here share the family bathroom on the first floor.
Please note that although this bedroom is on the ground floor, the nearest shower is upstairs. It may therefore not be suitable for a guest who cannot manage the internal staircase.
First Floor
Four further bedrooms are located on the first floor: two doubles and two twin rooms, one of which can be configured as a double upon request.
Three of these bedrooms have their own en-suite shower rooms. The remaining twin room shares the family bathroom with the ground-floor double bedroom.
Bedroom Two
The first double bedroom is bright and comfortably furnished, with its own en-suite shower room.
Bedroom Three
The second double bedroom also has an en-suite shower room and offers a peaceful space in which to relax.
Bedroom Four
This flexible bedroom can be prepared with either a double bed or twin beds upon request. It has its own en-suite shower room.
Bedroom Five
The final bedroom is furnished with twin beds and uses the separate family bathroom on this floor.
Roof Terrace
An external staircase from the first-floor side balcony leads up to Yesil Ev’s spacious roof terrace.
Comfortable outdoor seating is arranged around a coffee table, while two sun loungers provide space for relaxing in the sunshine.
The terrace enjoys fabulous panoramic views across Kalkan Bay and towards the surrounding mountains. It is a particularly lovely place for a quiet morning coffee or an evening drink as the sun begins to set.
Outdoor Space
Yesil Ev is set within its own secluded walled grounds, with mature planting and a choice of sunny and shaded outdoor spaces.
The villa’s private swimming pool measures approximately 7.2 metres by 2 metres and is surrounded by sun loungers and comfortable outdoor seating. A counter-current swimming system allows guests to swim continuously against the flow, making the pool particularly appealing to those who enjoy lap swimming.
French doors lead directly from the main living area onto the pool terrace. An outdoor dining table is positioned to the side of the villa, providing a sociable setting for relaxed meals.
To the rear of the property, the mature walled garden offers welcome shade during the warmer parts of the day. Surrounded by established trees and colourful planting, this peaceful garden area has additional comfortable seating and provides an inviting place to read or escape the midday sun.
A table tennis table offers entertainment for children and adults alike.
Guests also have complimentary use of the Lykia Estate’s 18-metre members-only swimming pool. The communal pool generally opens for the season at the beginning of May.
