Villa Papatya sleeps 6 with 3 bedrooms, all ensuite with stunning sea views over Kalamar Bay. A 7th person (age restriction to 11 yrs of age or below) can be accommodated on a single-sized fold out bed that can be placed in any of the three bedrooms.

The spacious private pool terrace has 6 sun loungers, barbeque, lounging area and a dining area for the all important al fresco dining. The Kalamar Beach club is less than a 2 minute walk away and offers a restaurant, watersports and scuba diving.

The old village of Kalkan is a 15 minute walk away and there is a frequent local bus service from Kalamar to Kalkan. On arrival at the villa we supply a complimentary welcome hamper and information file listing information about the villa and local area.

A weekly deep clean, all linen and towels provided, including pool towels. We can help arrange airport transfers, boat trips, days out and scuba diving.

Very central and just a 2 minute flat walk to the centre of town (less than 10 minutes walk away from Kalkan’s old town), shopping, restaurants and beach. This property has its own rooftop plunge pool and sun deck from which you can admire almost all of the kalkan landscape leading out to the beautiful blue Mediterranean Sea and surrounding mountain views.

On the entrance level the apartment houses the double and twin bedrooms. Each bedroom has a stunning sea view balcony, equipped with table and chairs. The perfect spot to enjoy the view with your morning coffee.

Upstairs is the open plan lounge and kitchen with apex style roof (height restrictions in places), with floor to ceiling glass sliding doors out onto the rooftop terrace.

The kitchen is modern and has a table and chairs to seat four, overlooking the pool and sea views. All the appliances required for self-catering are provided. The kitchen area also has a dining table and chairs.

The lounge area has a large comfortable L-shaped sofa, armchair and a TV.

Paradise on earth

This is the perfect holiday home – stunning views over the bay, sunset suppers, a gorgeous walled space with swimming pool, dining area and two sofa areas. It’s a spacious home which is very well equipped and was perfect for my family (two sons aged 11&13). It is a 10-15 minute walk to the town (find the short cuts) and 5 mins walk to the supermarket so couldn’t be more convenient. There is a big water cooler and bread/jam/tea/Coca Cola on arrival which is a lovely touch. If you’re a cat lover, there’s some lovely friendly cats who come and say hello too. And most importantly Jane and her team are incredible from booking until check out. They couldn’t be more helpful or supportive, thank you. We loved our stay in Kalkan and will definitely be using Lale again in future.

Wonderful stay in İskele 2

We had a fantastic holiday made even more fantastic by staying in İskele 2. The apartment was lovely. The outside space was absolutely stunning with stunning views. The pool was a great size, much bigger than we’ve had in previous apartments. The inside area was lovely too, the kitchen area had everything we needed. We were welcomed with essential supplies of milk butter eggs bread and tea bags and jam, which was a lovely surprise. We didn’t need to go to the shop for breakfast the next morning. The location is fantastic, it’s a lovely 5 minute walk into the old town or down to the Harbour! We stayed for 7 nights and on the 4th day the bedsheets and towels were changed and bathrooms cleaned, this was a welcome surprise. Would highly recommend İskele 2 and I hope to come back again.

As always Jane and her team at Lale have been so helpful and always go the extra step. Your restaurant recommendations for the first night was probably my favourite meal in the whole week. Mabeyn restaurant is close by and definitely worth a visit along with Flame restaurant!

Exceptional apartment!

This apartment was exceptional. The sea view just can’t be captured on camera. The rooms are spacious and beautifully clean and the kids loved the pool. We walked into the old town every day with a 12 minute walk (top tip…cut across the playground at the end of the road to avoid the steep steps/hill). The supermarket is just around the corner. Jane was great, giving us all the information well before we departed for Turkey and the owner’s son was there to greet us and help us with our bags even though we arrived after midnight! I’d highly recommend this apartment to everyone. One thing to pack in your suitcase though is a tea towel if you plan on using the kitchen.

Fabulous week in Iskele 1

We had a fabulous week in Iskele 1. All we needed was there including a fantastic coffee machine.

The groceries and water when we arrived was very helpful.

Plenty of space and bathrooms ( 4 women) and a brilliant location being able to walk into town. Alp was very attentive and answered questions promptly.

We couldn’t have asked for more!

Located in the lower Kiziltas area of Kalkan, Villa Verde is a delightful 3-bedroom villa, accommodating up to 6 guests, with a private pool and wonderful sea views from the upper levels, The interior of the villa is very attractive, with a contemporary design. The owners have put much thought into ensuring that their guests have a comfortable stay, and the villa features quality fixtures and fittings throughout, plus some great ‘extras’, such as the double swing seat & jacuzzi on the pool terrace, an, induction hob, and a Nespresso coffee machine. The villa is south facing, so plenty of opportunities to sunbathe all day long!

Ground Floor – Villa Verde

The open plan living area contains a well-equipped kitchen, that includes, Fridge freezer, built in oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, & Nespresso coffee machine. The lounge area has a large L-shaped sofa and coffee table, flat screen smart TV with Netflix ready to use with your own account login. Glass sliding doors lead out onto the beautifully designed and spacious pool terrace. There is also a cloakroom and WC on this level.

First Floor – Villa Verde

The first floor has two double en-suite bedrooms. Both have air conditioning and private furnished balcony that have partial sea views overlooking Kalkan and the surrounding mountains.

Top Floor – Villa Verde

The top floor has an attic conversion twin bedroom with limited head room, more suited to older children. (Please note that this floor has no bathroom facilities, anyone occupying the attic bedroom would have to share one of the double bedroom’s en-suite).

Separate access leads to the villa’s roof terrace, which has wonderful views over Kalkan and is furnished with a comfortable sofa sets. The roof terrace has the best sea views of all and is perfect for enjoying an evening drink whilst relaxing and taking in the beautiful sunsets

Bedrooms – Villa Verde

Bedroom 1 – Double En-suite bedroom with Private balcony and air-conditioning.
Bedroom 2 – Double En-suite bedroom, Private balcony and air-conditioning.

The private pool (6m x 4m x 1.60 depth) has sun loungers, tables and parasols around its edge, plus a jacuzzi, shaded by a pergola. There is also a lovely rattan seating set and coffee table, barrel type chair swing, BBQ and outside shower

Access to the villa

Villa Verde is accessed from the road side by stairs shared by neighbouring villas.
NB care should be taken when using the stairs as they are communal and do not require villa owners to maintain them

Villa Teshir, a beautifully presented detached 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom character stone villa with a large private pool, lush gardens and breath-taking sea and mountain views.

Villa Teshir is on 2 levels and the stone floors inside and out give it a charm of its own.

Please note:

The property is undergoing renovations this winter, including new bathrooms, updated kitchen with island unit, renovated pool and new furniture throughout. All will be ready to take reservations from May 2025 and new photos will be available early Spring.

Villa Teshir is set in the heart of Kalkan in the area knowns as Ortaalan and an easy flat walk of 10 minutes into town. The property is situated well below the D400. 

The nearest supermarkets, Migros and Macro, are only a 5 minutes’ walk away.

Whilst a car is not necessary, there is a private parking space available.

Outside Areas:

This lovely, detached villa has large spacious outdoor areas comprising of a large pool (6m x 5m) with Roman steps for easy access. 
There is a secluded garden with lemon and olive trees and a large veranda which runs the entire length of the villa. Here you will find a comfortable seating area comprising of sofas and easy chairs. 

The spacious terrace surrounding the pool has a dining area, 4 sun loungers and a built brick BBQ, all overlooking Kalkan Bay.

Ground Floor:

The spacious ground floor comprises of a dining kitchen, lounge and cloakroom.
The kitchen is fully fitted and includes all the usual modern appliances, a water cooler and a Nespresso coffee maker. 

From here, French doors lead directly to the pool terrace.

The comfortable lounge has sofas, easy chairs and a coffee table. There is a 42-inch flat screen TV offering all the English channels you may require.

There is direct access out to the veranda, shaded by olive trees from our garden below.

First Floor:

On the 1st floor there are 2 ensuite bedrooms, both with large, fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom has a 4 poster 6 ft king size bed. Bedroom 2 has twin beds.

Both bedrooms have stunning sea views with shutters on the windows to keep you cool in the summer months. 

A “kosk” balcony with comfortable lounge seating, perfect for relaxing and looking out to sea or enjoying the twinkling lights of Kalkan in the evening.

Simply stunning - a real home from home

Wow well what can I say, Villa Teshir is simply stunning a real home from home. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are big and air-conditioned. The bed and pillows were comfortable too – we all slept so well! The view is incredible and it is so easy to walk into town – 10 minutes walk. The local supermarkets are a 5 minute walk and provide everything you need for your stay. Taxis are cheap and easy to get but don’t forget to use the dolmus to travel around too they are minibuses and air conditioned – not the little tuk tuk I had imagined! Thank you so much for an incredible stay – we will definitely be back

Situated in the middle of the Ekin apartment complex, Ortada is a two bedroom, ground and lower ground duplex apartment with its own private pool and two outdoor terraces. Due to its central location and just off the Kalamar Road, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, the quaint old town, beach and harbour are all within a 5–10 minute relatively flat walk.

The entrance to the apartment is on the ground floor and opens to a very bright and spacious open plan living area with a well-stocked modern kitchen with water cooler and Nespresso coffee machine, indoor dining area and airy living space housing an ample L-shaped sofa, air conditioning, TV with UK channels and Bluetooth speaker. 

Two large sets of patio doors open directly onto the pool terrace and outside dining area.  A BBQ, adjustable shade and comfy sun-loungers complete the picture. 

The two light and generous bedrooms are on the lower level and both open out onto the downstairs garden courtyard.  This is also equipped with outdoor furniture and a table tennis table for entertainment. 

The master bedroom has a large double bed, air conditioning, ample storage for clothes and an ensuite shower room. 

The second bedroom is furnished with two twin beds and air conditioning and a shower room with sink and WC is immediately opposite.

Fabio is the largest of the Ekin apartments and has two levels – the lower ground floor has three light and airy bedrooms and the living area (entry level) occupies the upper ground floor. This level has access to a very spacious and sunny terrace with large pool for sole use. An al-fresco dining area is also situated on the pool terrace together with an ottoman-style seating area – perfect for escaping the midday sun or for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. The lower level has access to a pretty second terrace and garden area – this is secluded and affords some shade in the afternoon so it’s another ideal place to relax.

The living area of the apartment has comfortable seating with flatscreen TV and DVD player plus Ipod docking station and an open plan kitchen with with cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. There is a dining area to seat 6 people.

The bedrooms are configured as follows:

Bedroom 1 – super-kingsize bed, with en-suite shower room. Large patio doors leading to garden terrace area.

Jane is a great host in the contact was impeccable.

The accommodation is definitely suitable and secured for children. It was clean and the pool was cleaned regularly.

The house was amazing!

The house was amazing. It is at walking distance to the centre; market, grocery, bakery etc. is really close to the house.

The house was really clean and we easily checked-in.

The house offers so a lot. Jane is really punctual 😊, she wasn’t a minute late than the time we agreed.

Wished we had more time; a week wasn’t enough to totally enjoy the house. 😅

I would suggest anyone who would like to have wonderful summer or winter vacation.

The terrace and pool are top notch

A large apartment on two levels. Very peaceful and beautiful place to relax.

Restaurants, harbour and old town are not far away (about 10 – 15 min walk).

The terrace and pool are top notch.

However, you can view the terrace/pool from the street, but there are few cars/people passing by.

All in all, we had a great stay.
