Sunset apartment is a one-bedroom apartment situated on the first floor of the Horizon Apartments block, nice and secluded at the rear. It is identical in size and specifications to Sunrise and just as well-equipped. Spacious, and offering comfortable accommodation for up to four people – with one double bedroom and two sofa-beds in the spacious lounge area – Sunset is suitable for couples, friends and families alike. 

Recently refurbished to a high standard, Sunset apartment is situated on the first floor, nice and secluded at the rear of the block, and has the following specifications: 

King size bed.Full air conditioning. 2 x single sofabeds in lounge. Cot and highchair available on request. 

Separate shower room with shower, wc and wash basin.

Kitchen area has all you need for a comfortable stay including hob, fridge with freezer section, microwave, oven, kettle, toaster, coffee filter, iron and ironing board and small hairdryer. 

Comfortable main living area consists of air-conditioned open plan lounge/diner with 2 x full-size single sofabeds, dining table and 4 chairs.  

Large balcony with table and seats for four – great for a leisurely breakfast or a quiet pre-dinner drink at sunset! 

Small rear balcony with washing machine and clothes rack – also great for drying wet swimwear etc. 

Bath towels and linen provided and changed twice weekly. Beach towels also provided and changed weekly. 

Each of the apartments has its own allocated sun-loungers and parasol by the superb private pool.

The Horizon Apartments are renowned for two main features: the fabulous location, right in the heart of the new centre of Kalkan, close to all the banks and the major supermarket, and the fabulous large but secluded pool.  

Our first apartment in Kalkan, the ever-popular Sunrise has been delighting Kalkan Secrets’ guests since 2006. On the first floor, with a great balcony overlooking the superb pool, Sunrise is very well-equipped (as are all the Horizon Apartments) and spacious, offering comfortable accommodation for up to four people – with one double bedroom and two sofa-beds in the spacious lounge area. Sunrise is suitable for couples, friends and families alike.

Recently refurbished to a high standard, Dusk apartment is suitable for up to 5 people, with very flexible accommodation that can cater for various permutations of sleeping arrangements. 

It has the following specifications:

Bedroom 1: air-conditioned bedroom with king size bed.

Bedroom 2/extra sitting room: a dual-purpose, air-conditioned room that can be configured either as a bedroom with a double bed or an extra lounge, with a sofa.

There is also a large single sofa-bed in the lounge area.

A cot and high chair are available on request.

Dusk has a shower room with shower, wc and wash basin 

The kitchen area has all you need for a comfortable stay including cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, etc.

The comfortable, spacious main living area consists of air-conditioned open plan lounge/diner with sofa-bed (see above), dining table and chairs. Full free wi-fi access is also provided throughout the site.

The large, secluded patio area is situated to the rear and side of the apartment and includes another table and chairs – plenty of shade from the mid-day sun, and great for a leisurely breakfast or a quiet pre-dinner drink at sunset!

A washing machine is also installed at the rear of the apartment and there is plenty of external space for drying wet clothes, swimwear etc. Ample towels and linen provided; twice weekly. Beach towels are also provided and changed weekly.

In common with all the Horizon Apartments, Dusk has its own allocated sun-loungers for five and parasol by the superb private pool.

Recently refurbished to a high standard, Daybreak penthouse apartment, in the superbly well-maintained Horizon Apartments block, is in one of the most sought-after locations in Kalkan.

Close to the supermarkets, banks, shops, restaurants and bars – but in a secluded and private location, with a huge pool – this spacious and comfortable penthouse apartment has everything you need for a fabulous, relaxing holiday in the heart of Kalkan. It’s our most popular apartment by far and has many repeat customers who keep coming back for the combination of space, views, equipment, pool and… location!

Daybreak has the following specifications:

Two double bedrooms, each with en-suite shower room/wc.

Daybreak sleeps up to six people, including the two large, comfortable sofa-beds in the lounge area.

Air-conditioning. 

Spacious, comfortable lounge on one side and a kitchen/diner on the other side; the lounge area has two large sofa-beds.

Kitchen area has all you need for a comfortable stay including oven/hob; washing machine; fridge freezer; kettle; microwave, toaster; coffee machine; iron and ironing board etc; inside dining area has table with six chairs (there are also tables and seating on both balconies for outdoor dining).

There are two large balconies (actually they are roof terraces); one east facing and one west-facing, so you get the terrific advantage of having the sun on one terrace in the morning and on the other in the afternoon. (Not that you will need to spend much time on either of the balconies when you have that fabulous pool and pool terrace to make use of…)

As with all the Horizon Apartments, Daybreak is maintained to an extremely high standard by English speaking cleaning and maintenance staff. 

All linen, towels and beach towels provided.

Dawn Apartment: 1 bedroom, sleeps 4 (one double, two sofa beds in lounge).

Dawn apartment on the ground floor is popular with couples and small families. It is immediately adjacent to the huge shared pool. 

There’s ample room for sunbathing on the wide terraces around the pool & to the side and rear of the block. We have sufficient sunbeds and parasols provided for every guest in every apartment, even if the whole block is full to capacity (which is extremely rare).

Just relax & enjoy… no need to get up early for the “dawn patrol” sunbed reservation ritual seen at hotels and apartment complexes with smaller pools 😉 We have more than enough room by the pool for everyone.

We even provide beach towels so you don’t have to pack them… more space and weight allowance for your clothes, shoes and suncream (and yes, the suncream you will definitely need)!

The Horizon Apartments are renowned for two main features: the fabulous location, right in the heart of the new centre of Kalkan (close to all the banks and the major supermarkets) and the fabulous large but secluded pool.  

Dawn Apartment shares the same facilities as all the other popular Horizon Apartments. The bedroom has a king size extra length bed. Sofa beds open easily into 100cm wide, comfortable beds. The main bedroom has its own aircon.

Bathrooms: 
Spacious bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet. 
Towels are provided. Extra shelves for toiletries, etc.

Kitchen: 
Open plan with good cupboard space. Large fridge/freezer, 4 plate gas hob, microwave,, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board and fully equipped for 4 people. Washing machine for personal use.

Living Rooms: 
Air conditioned (& fan), spacious, open plan lounge/dining area. Two sofas open up to comfortable, large (1m wide) sofa beds. Dining table and four chairs. The large balcony has a marble table and 4 chairs and overlooks the pool with a mountain view behind.

Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service: 
The apartment is cleaned weekly. Bed linen and towels are changed every 3-4 days.

The pool area, loungers and parasols are kept spotlessly clean by the friendly staff.

Villa Kucuk is a 2-bedroom detached villa in a convenient location in Kalkan’s Ortaalan district.

The walk into Kalkan centre is approximately 10 – 15 minutes and a large supermarket is only 5-7 minutes’ walk away.

The accommodation is laid out as follows:

Entrance Floor: The interior of the property features natural stone walls, terracotta tiles and lovely wooden furnishings which combine to create a warm atmosphere that gives you a real holiday feeling. An open-plan kitchen and cosy living room occupy the entrance floor. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances including gas hob, oven and fridge. The living room is furnished with a comfortable seating group, satellite TV and coffee table and is flooded with light from large doors which frame views of the private garden-terrace area. Off the living room is the first bedroom, a spacious double with pool view. This room is furnished with a double bed, wooden wardrobe, vanity table and bedside tables. A separate bathroom with walk in shower is located on this floor to the rear of the living space which serves as both the bathroom for this bedroom and a guest bathroom.

Lower Ground Floor: The master en suite bedroom occupies this floor featuring a double and large seating area which faces out to a small courtyard garden area which is accessed via glass doors. The room is bright and spacious and there is a good-sized bathroom with walk in shower.

Outside the Villa: The entrance floor hosts a sunny terrace to the front of the living space with outdoor seating area and alfresco dining terrace with stone masonry BBQ so you can enjoy an outdoor feast. To the side of the living area is private swimming pool and adjoining sunbathing patio with sun loungers for all 4 guests. On the lower ground floor there is a small courtyard garden area with mature planting and olive trees.

Please note that the pool is active during the summer season between May and October, please enquire for reservations that do not fall within these dates.

Situated in the middle of the Ekin apartment complex, Ortada is a two bedroom, ground and lower ground duplex apartment with its own private pool and two outdoor terraces. Apartment Ortada is a bright and airy, modern duplex apartment with its own private pool and two outdoor terraces.  The main ground floor pool terrace is south facing and enjoys all day sun, whilst the lower ground shady garden courtyard provides a welcoming escape from the summer heat.

 

The entrance to the apartment is on the ground floor and opens to a very bright and spacious open plan living area with a well-stocked modern kitchen with water cooler and Nespresso coffee machine, indoor dining area and airy living space housing an ample L-shaped sofa, air conditioning, TV with UK channels and Bluetooth speaker.  Two large sets of patio doors open directly onto the pool terrace and outside dining area.  A BBQ, adjustable shade and comfy sun-loungers complete the picture.

The two light and generous bedrooms are on the lower level and both open out onto the downstairs garden courtyard.  This is also equipped with outdoor furniture and a table tennis table for entertainment.

The master bedroom has a large double bed, air conditioning, ample storage for clothes and an ensuite shower room.

The second bedroom is furnished with two twin beds and air conditioning and a shower room with sink and WC is immediately opposite.

Villa Lavaya is a palatial villa with its unique layout, design features and highly enviable location, has just undergone extensive renovation.  Lavaya is a contemporary and extremely spacious 6 (or possibly 7*) bedroom villa, with a fantastic master suite Jacuzzi, plunge pool and waterfall flowing into the vast infinity pool. From its luxury amenities to its high-end designer finish, there are so many elements that make this villa stand out.

Lie back and relax in the infinity pool with the waterfall overflowing from the master suite infinity pool. Relax to the sounds of flowing water or gaze across the waterfall onto the seating area and pool bar beyond. If you are looking to hide from the midday sun, why not take yourself to the side garden and relax in the hammock with a good book.  For those who enjoy the heat, grab a bottle of water from the outdoor bar and relax in the unique swing structure while catching more of the sun’s rays. The outdoor sofas allow you to lie back next to the pool while enjoying some shade by pulling the canopy above you.

Socialise with friends and family in the outside entertaining area and bar which has stunning views of the waterfall and sea beyond.  The impressive marble bar has everything you need to create those sundown cocktails.  This beautifully lit bar is the perfect place to visit before heading into one of the towns amazing restaurants or lighting the BBQ for a meal on the terrace. You can make a delicious cocktail and take yourself to the outdoor seating area.  Whether it’s relaxing jazz or something upbeat you require, the outdoor sound system of Sonos speakers will not disappoint.

The outdoor entertaining area is a great space for those who still have some energy after a day by the pool or fancy some shade and activity from the afternoon sun. It consists of a pool table, table tennis and darts board. The outdoor dining area is a beautiful space for alfresco dining with stunning waterfall lights hanging above the table.

The villa’s stunning glass façade with stone walls is modern and sophisticated and provides the perfect balance between the interior and the exterior of the villa.  The quality continues inside with marble flooring and full glass walls that frame the breath-taking views of the sea, beach and town.  Serious wow factor is the glass enclosed staircase that connects all three floors.

Ground floor:

On the ground floor there is one en-suite double bedroom with fully fitted, bespoke wardrobes and makeup area.

The modern, spacious lounge is flooded with light by the walls of glass doors and looks out onto the expansive terrace and pool area.  The 75″ TV and surround sound makes it a beautiful space to enjoy a movie together.  This floor boasts a reading area with handcrafted chairs and coffee table.  The marble kitchen and breakfast bar consist of all the amenities needed while staying at Villa Lavaya.  The marble dining table seats 14 and is the perfect place if you want to eat indoors. At the rear, sliding doors open out onto the games area.

A WC is also provided on this level.

First floor:

On the first floor you will find two en-suite bedrooms, one double and one twin (can be made into double on request), with bespoke fitted wardrobes and dressing/make-up area.  Each bedroom has floor to ceiling glass doors which open up onto a large balcony with seating to enjoy the views of the water. 

A spacious master suite is meticulously designed with king-size bed, walk-in wardrobes and a luxurious bathroom where you can enjoy a relaxing Jacuzzi bath or a relaxing shower with sea views. But, the most incredible part of this master suite is the private Jacuzzi and plunge pool which sits on the terrace.  A unique waterfall cascades from this first floor pool into the expansive main infinity pool below.  Two large bamboo cushioned swings hang from the pergola and sit above the pool.  If you prefer a sun lounger, lie back in one of the two that sit in this beautiful pool overlooking the sea.

Second floor:

The second floor consists of a further en-suite bedroom with double bed, fitted bespoke wardrobes and dressing/makeup area.  What makes this bedroom so special is the 180* balcony.  The views from this floor are incredible at all times of the day and night.

Lower ground floor:

On the lower ground floor you will find a further en-suite bedroom with fitted wardrobes and dressing/makeup area. 

For those who like to stay fit while holidaying, the lower ground floor gym is the perfect place for you.  You will find all you need.

The new media room on this level will keep everyone happy, whether you want to watch a movie on the 65″ TV with surround sound, or play a game on the Xbox.  The bespoke lie-down TV bed enables this room to be used as a double bedroom (if required) and will keep you comfortable whatever you choose to do. There is a fridge in the room so you don’t need to go up to the main kitchen for drinks or snacks.  This room is also en-suite.

  • The villa has IPTV for sports and movies plus UK TV channels
  • Safe provided
  • CCTV security and alarm system is provided
  • WiFi access is provided
  • Weekly cleaning and linen changes are provided (so if staying for 2 weeks, a mid-stay clean and linen change is provided; if staying for 1 week, there is no mid-stay clean and linen change provided)
  • *The 13th and 14th guests (if applicable) will be accommodated on the double sofa bed in the media room – this is suitable for older children or young teens, but not suitable for adults (this room does have an en-suite shower room)
  • Although the lower ground level is within the secure perimeter of the property, it is separately accessed from the main part of the house, so it would not be suitable to accommodate unaccompanied young children
  • Pool heating is available at this villa – extra costs apply.  This must be pre-booked at least 7 days in advance and pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking

Su Apartment is a lovely 2 bed duplex property located on the popular Emir complex, with sea views and large shared pool.  Just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre, the centrally located complex benefits from two large shared swimming pools. The largest of these is just a stone’s throw away from the apartment steps. The property is well maintained and in very good condition.

Accommodation:

Ground Floor

Open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The fully fitted kitchen contains a fridge freezer, oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso Coffee Machine, kettle and toaster. A washing machine is located in a cupboard next to the kitchen.

The lounge area consists of two 3 seater sofas, coffee table and 43″ Smart TV. The dining area has a table and seating for 4 people.

Bathroom 2 is on this level and is modern, with marble tiled shower room and WC. 

First Floor

Bedroom 1

A large bright master bedroom with double bed, sofa, vanity unit and triple wardrobe. Balcony with sea views, has small table and chairs.

Bedroom 2

Light and airy with twin beds. This bedroom does not have its own balcony.

Bathroom 1

Modern, marble tiled with wall hung toilet.

Outside Area:

2 large, shared swimming pools, sun beds, small shady private terrace area off the lounge with bistro style table and chairs.

Beautiful apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at Su. The apartment is beautifully furnished and clean and has everything you need for your stay. The pool area has lovely comfortable sun loungers with stunning views of the town and was never too crowded.

It’s a 5-10 minute walk into the town or harbour with lots of choice of restaurants and bars so great location with no need for a taxi.

The onsite management team were very friendly and helpful and the booking experience with Lale was also superb.

Lovely, well situated apartment

We have visited this apartment every year for the past 16 years. It really is a home from home for us.

It is well appointed, on the popular Emir development and is in an ideal situation, with beautiful views out to sea, and close to bars, restaurants and supermarkets.

The balcony from the master bedroom is an ideal place for having a nightcap, and the ground floor terrace is a lovely spot to have breakfast, lunch or dinner.

A very spacious apartment in a great location.

The apartment was spotlessly as was the whole complex.

Close to small supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants. No taxis needed as the location is superb.

We also took advance of the airport shuttle with was efficient and comfortable.

Would 100% recommend this property.
