Ground Floor – Villa Lighthouse 2

The entrance to Villa Lighthouse 2 is accessed by just 3 steps leading up to the property which opens onto a lovely pool terrace with limited sea views and a landscaped garden. A modern, light and airy open plan living area greets you on the ground floor with a well-equipped kitchen incorporating an integrated oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, kettle, Turkish toaster and water cooler. The stylish kitchen also has a kitchen island and gas hob.

With floor to ceiling large glass windows/doors, the view from the comfortable lounge looks out onto the pool terrace. The lounge includes 2 sofas, an armchair, coffee table, sideboard and smart TV.

On this level there is also a guest WC.

First Floor – Villa Lighthouse 2

Wide stairs (no handrail) lead up to the first floor where there are 2 spacious en-suite bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. Both bedrooms benefit from their own balcony, each with chairs and a coffee table to soak up the beautiful sea views over Kalamar bay.

Second Floor – Villa Lighthouse 2

Wide stairs (no handrail) lead up to second floor which is dedicated to the double en-suite master bedroom. Sliding doors lead onto the large roof terrace offer full sunshine and superb unobstructed sea views, perfect for those wanting privacy and to enjoy romantic sunsets.

The landing of this level is also a utility area containing a washing machine, iron and ironing board.

The terrace comprises a pool measuring 7 x 3m (1.55m deep) with walk-in roman steps, portable bbq and outside shower. Table & chairs, 6 sunbeds, 3 side tables and 3 parasols comfortably accommodate 6 people for alfresco living and dining. There is off road private parking for 1 car within the grounds of the property.

Lipsos 2 is a newly built 3 bed villa with private pool, located in the Kalamar Ortalaan area of Kalkan.  The villa is light and airy and has spacious outside areas.  The villa is a 3 minute walk to local shops and restaurants and a 10 to 15 minute walk to the town centre and harbour.  Kalamar Beach Club, with its very own Dive Centre is just a short stroll from the property. 

The villa can also be rented together with its neighbouring villa, Lipsos 1, for larger family or friends groups.  The two villas combining a maximum number of 12 guests.

Entrance:

Private entrance with gate and to the side of the property, the front door leads into the spacious open plan kitchen and living area.

Ground Floor:

Open plan modern kitchen and living area.  The kitchen includes fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, kettle and a separate breakfast bar with stools.  This area also comprises of a dining table and chairs. Sliding doors open out onto the BBQ/Outside dining area.

The living area is light and spacious with a TV and TV unit, large comfy L shaped sofa, coffee table and rugs.  The patio doors open out onto the pool area.

First Floor:

Bedroom 1 with double bed, built in bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe, overhead lit dressing table and stool, full length mirror, jacuzzi and en-suite bathroom, comprising of shower, sink unit and mirrored wall cabinet, WC.

Nice quiet residential area

This villa is one of 3 built next to each other in a quiet neighbourhood. It is just off the Kalamar Road.

From the villa into town it’s about a 20/25 minute walk downhill. We took a taxi home at night as they were regular and not expensive.

The pool was a good size with 6 sun loungers and a comfy swing. Outdoor seating in the shade was lovely. There is a built in bbq.

As a party of 4, we didn’t need to use the bedroom at the top. There is a huge balcony at the very top. Access can be gained from inside the bedroom. There is also access from the landing which saves having to go into the bedroom.

The only negative I’d say was that there wasn’t anything on the roof top terrace. No sunbeds or tables or chairs, and so we could only go up, admire the stunning views and leave. It would have been lovely to sit up there in the evening. It’s a beautiful large area that’s not utilised.

The villa had plenty amenities and everything worked hand. Instructions for villa entry and contact should there be any problems were simple and effective.

Restaurants are available in abundance in Kalkan.

Sometimes we chose to eat in the neighbourhood. There is a number of bars and restaurants within a five minute walk. Aqua makes the best cocktails and delicious food. Cafe Vita are very welcoming with lovely dinners and breakfasts. The Brothers Restaurant also serves lovely food. There’s a mini market and supermarket in this area too.

Food can be delivered as can the large water bottles so we didn’t have any problems finding anything.

All in all, it was a lovely relaxing experience staying at this villa.

Just back from a fantastic 2 weeks in our favourite place – Kalkan.

Our party was 6 Adults & 1 baby aged 10 months.

Villa Lipsos 1 was perfect for us in every way. Spotless throughout & very modern.

Location is fantastic – 20 min stroll into town & if you don’t want to wander into town you have fab restaurants / plenty of amenities on your doorstep. Set in a residential/ peaceful location- what’s not to enjoy!

Just back from 2 weeks here. Fantastic villa, lots of space for the 4 of us, 20 min walk to town but taxis are everywhere so it’s almost irrelevant.

Villa owner was on hand and very good, although we didn’t really have any issues.

Villa is quite modern, pool is a good size, area is pretty quiet, booking was straightforward, decent price, great family time 😉

Well organised private transfer to the Villa where the owner Huseyin was already there to meet us to hand over the keys. The villa is modern and clean inside and out with efficient and quiet air con. Superb pool which was maintained every day. It’s in a nice quiet spot in the evenings and around a 15-to-20-minute walk into Kalkan old town. There are also several small convenience stores plus good restaurant/bars within a 5-minute walk. I would recommend a stay at Lipsos 1.

Yesim Apartment is a beautiful and stylish penthouse apartment in a fantastic location- just a 2 minute walk from the Old Town. It has a private plunge pool and beautiful unobscured sea views.

Lower floor:

On the entry level of the apartment, there are three stylish en-suite bedrooms. To the rear of the townhouse is the twin bedroom, with en-suite bathroom. This bedroom has a large private balcony which looks over the courtyard below.

To the front of the townhouse are two double en-suite bedrooms. Each of these bedrooms has double wardrobes, bed side cabinets and huge super King- sized luxury beds. The two bedrooms have patio doors opening out onto a very spacious, shared south facing balcony. The balcony is furnished with a seating set and two sun loungers.

Upper floor:

Marble stairs lead up to the first floor where there is an bright and airy open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with all white goods and the living area comfortably furnished a stylish corner sofa. Floor to ceiling double patio doors lead out onto the roof terrace. There is also a separate WC on this level.

Outside areas:

The roof terrace is furnished with sun loungers and a fantastic plunge pool- the perfect place to cool off. There are beautiful, sweeping sea views from the roof terrace. Each bedroom also has either a private balcony, or a large shared balcony.

The apartment is within a stone’s throw of Kalkan’s Old Town, its fantastic restaurants. shops, cafes and bars.

Stunning property with a stunning view

I have just reached the end of my stay in Yesim Apartment and would highly recommend it. The apartment is modern, stylish and also well equipped.

The location is fantastic, with the sun hitting the roof terrace early morning and not leaving until sunset (this was November!) so it’s really a great spot to maximise sun time. A private plunge pool on top means you can cool off whilst admiring the beautiful sea view.

The apartment is just a short walk from the centre of Kalkan, so you get the perfect combination of being central whilst also having a fantastic view.

Thanks to Jane and Elsie at Lale who were a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process and during my stay!

Yesim is a fantastic apartment with amazing views from the pool terrace looking across the bay. It is a 2 minute walk into town and is in a quiet area considering how close to town it is.

The apartment was very clean and well maintained throughout and had everything we needed for our stay,with a contact on hand if needed.

We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this apartment and management company.

It is an amazing property, in just the best location – but more than this the service we received from both Jane and Elsie was superb – nothing was ever a problem. Another amazing stay at Yesim two years after our first. I’ve never re-visited a holiday let, but I loved this place too much. Amazing location and it just feels like home. Spectacular views and very private for such a central location.

Credit to Lale as the team there are fantastic. They get things done VERY quickly and are excellent communicators. I really can’t fault them.

I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a bit of relaxation but also keen to be in walking distance to the old town.

It could not have been better in terms of location, views and generally a lovely place to stay.

Everything worked perfectly. Lots of very hot water.

The Lale team were on hand with advice and even provided a welcome pack which was appreciated.

The decor and ambiance felt suitably lux to go with the price.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor and is over two floors.

I don’t think I’d recommend for kids either due to the steps inside and the generally quite grown-up decor etc.

The 3 en-suite bedroom Villa Sultaniye offers panoramic sea views, and all rooms have balconies from which guests can enjoy the vista. 

The Villa’s interior has been designed in a cool, contemporary Turkish style. Antique marble floors are standard throughout and rooms feature attractive interior limestone walls. Villa Sultaniye is fully air-conditioned and in addition, we also provide fans for guests that prefer not to use air conditioning. 

All bedrooms benefit from contemporary en-suite bathrooms with overhead showers and are fully tiled in beautiful Turkish travertine and feature backlit mirrors. In addition, there is also a fourth house bathroom on the ground floor with a further rainfall shower. All beds have very comfortable ‘Dorma’ mattress toppers and bedrooms benefit from blackout curtains to ensure that rooms remain comfortable even in the sunshine. 

For those wishing to hire a car there are car parking spaces outside the villa though the property’s excellent location means this is not necessary. 

 

The villa also boasts a beautiful private freshwater pool and very spacious sunbathing area, again with incredible sea views. Pool towels are also provided. There is an extremely spacious pool terrace, furnished with tables and comfortable seating, perfect for an al fresco lunch or evening meal. This is a perfect open space to enjoy a Turkish breakfast, a light lunch or entertain with sundowners. 

 

Upstairs, the top floor roof terrace has stunning sea vistas over the quintessential Kalkan view of mouse and snake island. This space is stylishly furnished with quality sunbeds and parasols. There is also a beautiful chill out area including comfortable sofa and chairs as well as an outdoor kitchen and that all important drinks fridge to keep the fizz perfectly cool!  

Media and technology 

The lounge features a Smart TV – with full-service options via the ‘Amazon Firestick Remote’. Guests can simply switch the TV on via the TV remote then navigate services using the ‘Amazon Firestick Remote’.  

For guests this means a huge range of viewing options, including Netflix, Prime etc together with all UK channels and an extremely extensive range of movies. If you have any questions on how to use the Firestick, please just ask Samet as he is familiar with navigating the functions available. 

There are quality bluetooth speakers downstairs and upstairs as well as ‘Alexa’ voice activated devices for guest use or to use as bluetooth devices. There is also complementary wi-fi throughout the property even on the roof terrace.  

Well equipped kitchen diner 

The fantastically equipped kitchen offers everything guests would expect. This includes a ‘state of the art’ carbon water filter to ensure that our mains water is safe for drinking by all the family. There is a labelled, small, narrow tap next to the main kitchen tap and this is the tap to use for drinking. The water is filtered through no less than 5 carbon filters to provide a fresh, clean, constant supply of drinking water. The normal mains water tap is fine for washing fruit and veg, washing, cleaning teeth etc. 

Use of the filter water is completely free of charge. We still have a chilled water cooler which accommodates the large, 19 litre plastic drums, should guests prefer to use this.

An exceptional 3 bedroom villa, furnished to a very high standard, Villa Lavanta is located in an attractive residential area of Kalamar Bay. The nearest beach club is a 3 minute walk down the hill. There are cafes/restaurants within 150 metres and small supermarkets within just a 5 minute walk.

Lower ground floor apartment:

The ground floor apartment, built using traditional stone, is always cool and offers excellent family facilities and direct access to the private pool and chill areas. One double bedroom and lounge/sleeping area with fully equipped kitchen and dining area gives teenagers or friends total independence with WiFi, TV and air conditioning. The bathroom has WC and shower facilities.

First floor:

The first floor has been totally refurbished to a very high standard with a new shower/WC room, floor to ceiling glass windows in a very spacious lounge and a newly refitted and well equipped kitchen with granite worktops and seating round the island. There is a large fridge/freezer and a water chiller so no need to carry any water bottles to the villa. Off the kitchen, through large glass sliding doors, there is a large dining area for alfresco dining and from here there are beautiful views of the sea and the palm trees for which our road is well-known. There is a further large television on this level.

Second floor:

Two further bedrooms upstairs share a fully renovated master double bathroom with twin rain shower and two wash-hand-basins. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, separate access to balconies and beautiful views of the bay to the islands beyond.

From the second floor you access the roof terrace area with its panoramic views over the bay and mountains to the left and right, ideal for catching rays or sipping a drink whilst watching the sun set. There is a seating area and additional sun beds on this level.

Outdoor areas:

There is a generously sized private swimming pool with roman steps, on the ground floor, surrounded by spacious sunbathing terraces. On this level there is also a shaded comfortable seating area. Leading off the kitchen and living area, there is a large al fresco dining terrace. The roof terrace with its built-in seating area, pergola and sun loungers, has the best views of all.

This was our first time at Villa Lavanta, although we have been to Kalkan many times. We had an excellent stay in what is a beautifully appointed villa, to the extent that we had no hesitation in booking again to hopefully return next year.

Some elements of the layout were a bit quirky and took some getting used to, for example, the almost separate apartment on the ground floor, but we came to appreciate how useful this was in providing everyone some space.

Great views, in a great location locally. Everything we wanted for our stay.

Villa Apricus is a spacious, modern 3-bedroom villa with large 6m x 4m pool surrounded by lush gardens. The villa has lovely shaded seating areas with comfortable outdoor seating, garden swings and hammock, The furnished roof terrace is the ideal spot to relax and enjoy the stunning panoramic sea and mountain views over Kalkan. Located in the residential area of Ortaalan a gentle walk downhill to the old town will take approx. 10 mins, taxis are readily available for the less energetic. Close to many amenities including the local Thursday market. supermarkets, cashpoints, cafes and restaurants are all within a 3 to 10 mins walk.

Ground Floor

The ground floor has an open plan living space with a large corner style sofa, smart tv, and fireplace. Sliding glass doors from here lead directly out to the pool terrace.
The kitchen area is bright and modern fully furnished with fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, kettle and toaster.
A Double bedroom opening onto poolside with separate shower room, is also located on this level.

First Floor

The first floor has two bedrooms, the double master bedroom is en-suite and a twin bedroom with separate shower room. Both bedrooms open onto a balcony that has no sea view.

Top Floor

The top floor has a wonderful roof terrace with a shaded dining area, BBQ and comfortable seating, the ideal place to relax and watch the sun go down while admiring the splendid sea and mountain views over Kalkan.

Outside Areas

The good-sized pool is approx. 6m x 4m. around the terrace you will find sun loungers and a comfy seating area with table and BBQ. For the more energetic under the pool is a table tennis room.

The garden area has a lovely mature trees and shrubbery plus shaded seating.

Road side parking is available right outside where steps lead up to the terrace and front door.

Villa Andrea is a beautiful, immaculately presented 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa nestled on the hillside in Kiziltas. The villa offers a contemporary fully equipped kitchen, stylish living area and 3 double bedrooms (one configured as a twin). Outside, there is a large private pool, expansive terraces and a roof terrace. The villa has beautiful sea views and is an easy downhill walk to the centre of Kalkan.

The villa is comfortably and tastefully furnished and decorated throughout, with great attention to detail, with a mix of contemporary and traditional styling. All three bedrooms are en-suite and there are inverter technology air conditioning units in all main rooms. The open plan ground floor layout includes a fully fitted contemporary kitchen and kitchen island, plus ample seating in the form of a large L shaped sofa & armchair. There is a 4K smart flat screen TV in this area too, where you can watch UK channels via IPTV. There is high speed internet available for guests too.

Andrea has a great outdoor space in the form of a large terrace and newly renovated pool complete with roman steps ( 6 x 3M ), a shady dining area and comfortable seating both on the main terrace and also on the covered terrace on pool level, plus on the 1st floor balcony and roof terrace. There are lovely sea views from the villa too, on all levels

From the villa it is only a short walk to the Thursday market area and the town centre (approx. 5 minutes) plus a further 5 minute walk to the Old Town. Due to the villa’s elevated location, you may prefer to take a taxi back!

Ground floor:

The open plan living area contains a well-equipped kitchen that features an island with bar stool seating for up to 6 people.  A water cooler, fridge freezer, built in oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle and cafetiere are also provided. The lounge area has a large L-shaped sofa and coffee table, flat screen TV and TV unit

Glass sliding doors lead out from the kitchen onto the pool terrace.

There is also a cloak room and W/C on this level.

First floor:

Bedroom 1 – A double bedroom king size bed and en-suite shower room. Sea view balcony with table and chairs

Bedroom 2 – A double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Sea view balcony with table and chairs

(the balcony on this level is shared between both bedrooms, and has lovely sea view)

Second floor:

Bedroom 3 – A twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and access to the villa’s roof terrace. This has far-reaching views and is furnished with a comfortable sofa.

Outside areas:

The roof terrace has the best sea views of all and is perfect for enjoying sundowners whilst taking in the beautiful sunsets over Snake & Mouse islands.

Beautiful Villa

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful villa. As a family of 4 there is plenty of space, each room with an en-suite and balcony area with stunning views.

The villa is really well equipped supporting self catering and close enough to the old town for a walk down to enjoy an evening meal with brilliant views across Kalkan. The outside area is cleaned daily and a really relaxing space to enjoy a book in the sun or shade by the Pool.

There is plenty to do in and around Kalkan for all age ranges.

We would highly recommend booking this villa.

We are repeat guests to Villa Andrea for a reason – it really is the perfect Villa for a relaxing family holiday.

The inside and outside spaces are fantastic and spacious. The new pergola this year is a lovely addition and is the perfect spot for relaxing when you fancy a break from the fabulous pool.

The views from Villa Andrea are breathtaking at every level – try the beautiful roof terrace to watch the sunset, always a favourite time of the day!

A special mention to Jane, Elsie and Mimi and the team at Lale Homes – I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

From first booking to throughout the holiday they are beyond helpful, always on hand and an absolute delight to deal with.

Stunning views, ideal location

Arrived to an immaculate villa at night, very eager for the following morning to see the views, and was not disappointed….truly stunning!

Ideal location, away from the main town but close enough for a gentle walk in.

Mid holiday clean was very much appreciated as stayed for 12 nights, stayed in many villas over the years but all party agreed VILLA Andrea was the best one yet.

Kalkan itself, is fantastic, our new favourite place, so charming!

We have just returned from an amazing stay in Villa Andrea.

From the very first contact and throughout our holiday Jane and her fantastic friendly team have been incredibly helpful and professional, always available to offer advice and answer questions with nothing being too much trouble.

Villa Andrea offers everything we were looking for as a family and more, we loved everything about it, so much so that we have already booked for next year.

The pool and outside space is perfect, plenty of areas to relax and socialise with beautiful gardens and it is so peaceful.

Inside the villa is spacious and very well equipped, again perfect for relaxing and enjoying your holiday.

The views from all levels of Villa Andrea are breathtaking, taking in the lovely town and the beautiful sea, especially at sunset.

Ground Floor:

Large, spectacularly appointed open-plan kitchen and lounge. The large modern kitchen complete with breakfast bar, has everything you will need for your holiday. A dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer are all provided. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, gas hob and oven, toaster and kettle.

To the front of the super comfy lounge is a wonderful, dual purpose sun/dining room with sliding glass doors leading out to the private pool area. The lounge area has TV and surround system and a super comfy sofa with seating for 8 people.

Lower Ground Floor:

When it’s time for bed you simply go downstairs to the 3 bedrooms: There’s one twin and 2 doubles, the master of which has a TV and memory foam mattress. For absolute privacy, each of the bedrooms has its own luxurious en-suite bathroom. Even the mirrors are heated! From all the bedrooms there are sliding patio doors leading to a second terrace area. A beautiful, walled garden with lovely plants and feature stonework. A peaceful oasis of calm and an ideal spot to relax and escape the heat of the afternoon sun and read a book or have a nap!

Outside Areas:

The pool area is south-facing so benefits from sun all day long.  The beautiful pool has been converted to a saltwater system. The pool is 8m x 4m, a good size with roman steps, so plenty of space to swim and play and a new outside shower has been installed in this area. As they have lower chlorine levels, salt water pools are much gentler on the eyes and skin. No more stinging eyes and ruined swimwear!

Within the pool area you will find 6 sun loungers, a beautiful shady gazebo for outdoor dining and a decked kitchen area with sink and BBQ.

Hey Jude is a gem

Hey Jude is a wonderful property. We were lucky enough to stay a month and hosted family from both Australia and the UK during that time. It was perfect.

The layout works well and bedrooms stay cooler being at the lower level. The pool and outdoor area is a great size and very comfortable.

Very well appointed to a great standard – if we need a property of this size again I wouldn’t hesitate to book Hey Jude again.

A special call out to Jane and her entire rentals team. Every detail well communicated pre arrival, during and for departure. Any queries/requests dealt with promptly.

Ali and Erdem even ‘hoovered’ the pool to recover a small diamond stud earring!

Lovely homely apartment, pool was a welcome refuge every day. Not too far and not too close to Kalkan centre. All bedrooms contemporary en-suite bathrooms. Plenty of storage space. Will try and book again next year.

The apartment in general is very classy and new! The apart is two floors.

The kitchen offers all necessities. The pool is large and very nice!
